Community & Youth Services

The Community and Youth Services (CYS) team carries out a wide range of projects serving people on the Loughborough area. These include:

• Home Starter Box project.
• Sending 10 local primary schools to Warning Zone, where the children experience vivid scenarios of hazards they may face as they go out into the world, and learn how to deal with these. 
• Funding a trip to the Zoo and a picnic for children with learning difficulties. 
• Organising a speaking competition, 2 minute challenge,  for primary school children.
• Awarding Rotary Stars awards for good citizenship in 5 primary schools.
• Starting Rotakids groups in primary schools.
• Encouraging participation in Rotary youth competitions.
• Fund raising for Rotary in general.
