Our 2023/24 President
Michael Pearson

It's a strange feeling to be on the threshold of becoming President once again after so many years since my first time. So much has happened in Rotary and our communities, but the essential aims of our Club remain valid - Service, Development and Enjoyment - and these are my objectives for the coming year. I look forward to having your support.
I was struck by the clarity of a speech by the President-elect of Rotary International, Gordon McInally, which reflected my own views. His focus is on bringing hope and peace to a troubled world, having a sense of urgency about eradicating polio, caring for our own community and being aware of the health and needs of our own members.
Rotary has never been solely about fund-raising, although we have to acknowledge that projects and service often do need some money to realise their objectives. There are wider needs in all communities and I'm pleased that we are bringing the many skills of Club members to help others and support local services. There are many opportunities to collaborate with other groups and I would like to continue this process, as well as exploring ways in which we can generate more charitable funds.
I hope you enjoy your Rotary this year and will be ready to tell people why that is, how we make a difference to local communities and help to shift the public's perception of us through action as well as words.It's a strange feeling to be on the threshold of becoming President once again after so many years since my first time. A Little Bit About Us

​We're a lively club with around 40 members - men and women - including our satellite group Loughborough Jubilee.

​We meet at the Longcliffe Golf Club, Snells Nook Lane, Nanpantan, Loughborough LE11 3YA at 7.00 for 7.30pm on most Tuesdays. See map.
