The article below was written by John Graham, who was presented with a Sapphire Paul Harris Award by the Rotary Club of Loughborough Beacon for his many contributions to international projects.

Bryan Woodward and Susan Bird have each been twice to India to take part in a National Immunisation Day, along with other Rotarians from District 1070. Both were invited to a government reception in the House of Commons in April 2018 as an official 'Thank You' to hundreds of British Rotarians who contributed to the elimination of poliomyelitis in India in 2012. Their reports may be read below.
