PEPP – EBOX – Project
- The use of the EBOX during medical procedures, including endoscopy and Intubation, in combination with drapes protects the NHS frontline workers from being contaminated by aerosols containing virus generated during the procedures. This works for COVID-19 and other infectious viruses.
- Although the Intubation Box Project only started in mid-April most NHS Hospitals in Wales are trialling the EBOX and now thanks to the generous support from The Rotary Club of Loughborough Beacon and Rotary District 1070 (East Midlands) the first two EBOXES have been delivered to Leicester Royal Infirmary where Professor David Bowrey and Dr Sudarshan Kadri will be trialling them.
- Here are the EBOXES being loaded for delivery to the LRI.
